We are all gearing up for a very, very busy end to a GREAT school year! Classes are putting the final touches on special programs and/or assemblies and anticipate, with excitement, their remaining class field trips. Our sixth graders have attended various Junior High School Orientation Programs and are ready to enjoy their various field trips, socials and look forward to their long anticipated "Moving-Up" ceremony on June 17th.

As one would expect, this year’s Second Grade Play, E-I-E-I-OOPS," was outstanding! BRAVO to all our 2ndGraders, Miss Gallo, Ms. Arcadipane, Mrs. Murphy, Ms. Rinaldi, and Mrs. Kleemann.

With the end of the year already upon us, please take note of the following important information: June 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th will be half days at all four elementary schools. The schedule for Riccardi School is:

Grades K – 6 Arrive: 8:30AM Dismiss: 12:00 NOON

LSP Classes Arrive: 8:15AM Dismiss: 11:15AM

As appropriate, please notify your childcare provider of this schedule for the last 4 days.

NOTE: Lunch WILL NOT be served on June 21st through 24th.

I look back on this school year with many, many memories. Thank you to all students, staff, and parents for your on-going support and encouragement - you all make the Charles M. Riccardi Elementary School a very special place.

On behalf of the faculty and staff I extend most sincere CONGRATULATIONS to our SIXTH GRADERS and wish them continued success and happiness at the Junior High School.
